About this opportunity

We are now seeking an Equipment Engineer Technician to join our Maintenance Team at our Smart Factory in Lewisville, TX! This individual will provide first-line technical support for the factory manufacturing production equipment to support volume production.

What you will do

• Work within an assigned functional area supporting one of the following area(s): SMA/SMT, Final Assembly, Test, NPI/PTD and Warehouse automated systems.
• Provide operational support, including Preventative maintenance, equipment diagnosis and repairs, calibration, and setup of current and newly installed manufacturing equipment
• Identify equipment problems and drive to root cause understanding and implement effective solutions to improve overall performance
• Ensure continuous process control and perform moderate data analysis to help determine preventive maintenance frequencies to increase equipment uptime
• Connect with vendors and assist with coordinating vendor support and services
• Prepare a technical summary report with recommended actions for technical problems on equipment to provide during shift changes and to Engineering and Management
• Work closely with multi-functional teams to support and/or drive improvement activities with stakeholders
• Follow and revise the operating procedures

You will bring

• Minimum 3+ years of related technical experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance, electro-mechanical, or electrical/electronics
• Associates degree or higher in technical field or minimum 7+ years related experience preferred
• Familiarity with automation and related processes and components
• Understanding of PLC logic and functionality is a plus
• Experience working with the vital documentation and computer programs including efficiency in Microsoft programs
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings, engineering specifications, and maintenance manuals and apply the use of work instructions
• Self-motivated & committed to providing high-quality work with minimal direction
• Ability to work overtime and/or flexible shift hours when required
• Reliable and punctual attendance required
• Ability to lift items greater than 50lbs
