We are looking for a reliable, energetic individual with industry experience to join us at our craft beer and wine bottle shop. Must have an excellent work ethic and an understanding of great customer service. We are a fine wine and craft beer shop, so we need someone who not only enjoys drinking beer and wine but is enthusiastic about learning more about it. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, and a professional, outgoing, friendly personality. This is NOT a summer/winter job: meaning we are not looking to hire a college attendee who will leave for the Fall/Spring semester.

The primary responsibility for this role will be scheduling, coordinating, organizing and decorating for events, in addition to managing our social media presence across all major platforms to promote the events and the business in general. The additional responsibility for this role will be bartending, stocking shelves, and helping customers as needed. Often times the role will transition from managing events & social media during the day and bartending / customer service during the evening hours.

Requirements for the position include:

• Have Event Planning knowledge and experience
• Have Social Media knowledge and experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Driver's License & reliable transportation
• Ability to lift a case of beer and wine ~40lbs
• Must be available ~35hrs / week (11am-10pm)
• Must be looking for long term employment

Daily Tasks:

• Bartending
• Retail tasks like restocking shelves, organizing, cleaning/dusting, sweeping, etc.
• Scheduling, coordinating, organizing and decorating for events
• Managing our social media presence across all major platforms to promote the events and the business in general
• Selling wine and beer/cashiering
• Greet, guide, & serve our customers
• Help create, develop and execute in-house / social media promotions to generate brand buzz and traffic

Job Type: Full-time - approx 35 hours/week

Wine & Beer knowledge is required

Event planning and social media knowledge is required

Cicerone or Sommelier certification preferred

Job Location: Cary / Morrisville, NC

Pay: Hourly plus tips and bonus. Total compinsation target 40 - 50k yr.
