Executive Event Sales Coordinator
As an event sales manager for a non-profit organization with a budget capable of handling $500,000, your primary responsibility is to generate revenue by selling event sponsorships, tickets, and other related products or services. You will work closely with the organization's leadership team to develop and execute effective sales strategies, identify potential sponsors and partners, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
Some of the key duties and responsibilities of an event sales manager for a non-profit with a $500,000 budget may include:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive event sales strategy to meet revenue goals and maximize profitability.
- Conducting market research to identify potential sponsors, partners, and attendees for events.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with sponsors, partners, and donors, as well as managing contracts and agreements.
- Creating compelling sales proposals, presentations, and pitches to secure sponsorship and support for events.
- Managing and tracking event sales, including ticket sales, sponsorships, and other revenue streams.
- Collaborating with the events team to ensure that sponsorships are effectively delivered, and that events are executed to meet sponsor expectations.
- Managing budgets and financial reporting for events, including forecasting revenue and expenses, and providing regular reports to leadership.
- Participating in the planning and execution of events, as needed.
- Providing excellent customer service to sponsors and partners, and ensuring that their needs are met throughout the event cycle.
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to event sales and marketing.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong sales and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of event planning and management. Additionally, you should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities at once. Finally, you should have a passion for non-profit work and a commitment to advancing the organization's mission through successful event sales and management.

Pay: $15.00 - $28.33 per hour
