We are currently hiring for a specific case that is located in beautiful St. Petersburg in a secure community. Parking provided.

Great long-term case with friendly and supportive team members.

Things to know:

  • Professional caregivers, Nursing students, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.
  • The patient enjoys outings, walks along with the water, and dolphin watching.
  • Sit to stand lift is used and paid training is provided.
  • The patient needs assistance with light housekeeping and personal care.
  • The patient is an optimistic war Veteran who enjoys frequent exercise

Our office is centrally located in Largo, we provide orientation, training, and onboarding in the office.

MUST be flexible for training hours for this client.

The hours we are hiring for currently are :

Friday, Saturday, Sunday 9p-715a

3 days candidate MUST be available to work on-going

Pay is $20 per hour for this case.

We are currently offering a $500 sign on bonus! ~ terms and conditions apply

Responsibilities

  • Provide client with hygiene care as directed including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping
  • Take and record vital signs as well as height and weight, if necessary
  • Assist client in active and passive range of motion defined by the plan of care, document observed changes, report any changes to the Director of Nursing
  • Assist client in walking and transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, shopping
  • Develop and promote a safe environment for quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards
  • Ensure client’s rights are adhered to

Requirements

  • Certification CPR
  • HIV/AIDS certification
  • Alzheimer’s certification
  • Level 2 background screening through AHCA (we pull this up in our system)
  • Must have an active smart mobile device
