Job description
B&W/Diamond Power, Lancaster, OH location is looking for a 1st shift Welder in a Union Shop. The starting rate of pay would be $26.51
The welding candidate must have a High School Degree or equivalent. A minimum of 2 years welding experience performing welding operations on parts associated with B&W standard products using Gas Metal Arc Welding processes to produce welds in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
Candidate must pass a weld certification test using the GMAW process.
Candidate must have knowledge and understanding of the following tools and equipment:
Operate GMAW welding equipment, shielding gas mixers, stud welders, belt sanders, stone saws, overhead cranes, oxy-acetylene torch, tape measure, square, hand grinding equipment, regulators, high pressure gas cylinders, plasma torch equipment.
