The Texas Operating Area (TOA) has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Construction Technician to support the construction team in the Permian Basin. In this role you will actively provide technical and accounting support to a fast-paced team consisting of construction inspectors, construction coordinators, engineers and leaders.
This position could be based in either the Denver Office or the Midland office.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative services to the TOA construction team including:
- SiteView data entry.
- Maintain and distribute weekly Construction Report.
- Maintain construction related well files.
- Update and maintain distribution lists, team lists, and vendor lists.
- Assist team with developing meeting notes and presentations.
- Assist and set up meetings.
- Maintain calendars.
- Administration of SiteView/WellView program including:
- SiteView Administrator Role.
- Provide construction services and materials invoice processing including:
- Code verification and distribution of construction invoices.
- Maintain change order log and route change orders for approvals.
- Maintain equipment and inventory log.
- Manage vendors and train them on the TOA construction invoice processes.
- Construction safety administration including:
- Monthly safe worked hours log.
- Coordination of monthly contractor’s safety meeting.
- Safety meeting tracking logs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, with 2 years of college preferred.
- Oil and gas or construction industry experience is a plus.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Knowledge of SharePoint, Open Invoice (ADP) & JDE is a plus. In absence of that, a demonstrated ability to learn and work with customized web-based applications.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of internal customer service.
- Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Some travel will be required.
In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Ovintiv's reasonable estimate of the hiring compensation range for this role.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $60,000 - $80,000 USD
Compensation may vary and will be determined by the geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
