The AGCO Finance Division has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join its team in delivering extraordinary results at the Batavia, IL Parts Distribution Center. The Batavia PDC is the master distribution center for North America operating around the clock to serve internal and external customers on a global scale. This is a role with growth potential and developmental opportunities.

The Financial Analyst will support the Manager FP&A in the planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis of the North America Precision Ag & Digital (PA&D) division within AGCO. The PA&D division covers Parts, Aftersales Training & Customer Support and Digital Solutions. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong attention to detail, ability to maintain several processes simultaneously, and a willingness to investigate all areas of the P&L.


What you will do:

  • Support the monthly close process by performing journal entries, variance commentary, and reporting

  • Coordinate the yearly budgeting and quarterly forecasting process for the PA&D functions. Must be comfortable helping others navigate necessary templates and reports, modeling key assumptions, and recommending courses of action consistent with Corporate strategy and goals.

  • Preparation of Capital Budgets & Forecast, maintaining Fixed Assets within SAP and supporting end-to-end approval process

  • Monitor standard cost for products, ensuring system accuracy, and post correcting entries as needed

  • Perform Cost Variance analysis (PPV) and Surplus & Obsolete calculations for monthly close process

  • Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance and variances to forecast and budget

  • Maintain and improve upon internal reports and analysis through business partnerships and analytical insights on the various P&L items for the Parts tea

  • Ad hoc reporting and process improvement projects as needed

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

A plus if you have:

  • Strong self-initiative, communication, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills


  • Comfort with large quantities of data and management within Excel


  • Carries out all duties in accordance with company mission and philosophy


  • Demonstrates honesty and integrity at all times


  • 1+ years’ experience in analytic roles (manufacturing preferred)
