Cox Automotive is seeking a Financial Manager, Deal Management, to join the sales finance support office supporting Inventory Solutions initiatives. Key functions of the role include deal evaluation and analysis, strategic decision-making, client support and feedback. The ideal candidate must have solid understanding of financial modeling, various finance/accounting concepts and the capability to gain understanding of various modeling techniques to aid in forward looking performance and analysis for related areas of focus. Serves as trusted business partner for Inventory Solutions Sales and Leadership by providing analytical insights on client feedback, pricing concessions, and other finance/deal related metrics. The ability to multi-task and contribute in a fast-paced team environment are essential, as are outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Relationship building and ability to influence pricing decisions is critical to success in this role.

We are looking for an independent and driven performer who has high level problem-solving skills . The candidate filling this role will also review details with client, sales, and business leadership so the ability to present in various levels is a key to success. High level of Excel proficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Performs financial modeling and deal evaluation - Prepares and presents deal models, analyses, and recommendations. Responsible for client specific pricing and alternative monetization strategies to deliver on the Inventory Solutions goals.
  • Performs financials analysis - Conduct financial and operational analyses and identify emerging trends. May include pricing feedback review, post-deal evaluation, program profitability, and other financial metrics. Additional ad-hoc analysis based on customer need.
  • Performs data analysis - Identify business trends/dynamic and develops, reviews, and presents recommendations. Present insights and feedback to Inventory Solutions Sales teams.
  • Provide financial and operational consultative services through collaborative partnerships - Recommends and facilitates changes; analyze and review data and resolve questions and/or problems. High focus on relationship building to ensure finance point of view can influence the business.
  • Monitor and optimize business processes - Provides and reviews data to ensure both compliance and effectiveness of operational and financial processes, identifying anomalies and making recommendations. Understands upstream and downstream impacts to their department.
  • Project support - Participate in cross functional team to define and complete project objectives. Work with cross-functional teams by demonstrating financial expertise to address non-routine issues, optimize workflows and/or significantly contribute to improvements to internal organization and processes.



QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field
  • Deal management and/or Sales experience
  • Financial and business case modeling skills
  • Solid knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other financial tools etc.
  • Interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
  • Demonstrated skill at working remotely
  • Effective communication and strong executive presence



PREFERRED:


  • Degree in related discipline strongly desired (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Business Operations, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Tableau and/or Power BI
  • Knowledge of wholesale automotive industry, strongly desired



COMPENSATION:

Compensation includes a base salary of $87,400.00 - $145,600.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
