Inside the Role
The Purchase Control Analyst will be responsible in supporting Procurement department. In this role analyst will be heavily involved but not limited to preparing reports for commercial efficiency and raw material performance tracking for Business Unit Reviews.

Position offers a starting salary range of $74,500.00 - $95,000.00 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What You Drive at DTNA
  • Provide management support in analyzing and reporting purchased truck part cost development year over year by monitoring purchase part price changes.
  • Key Account responsible for Aftermarket department, assisting with results reporting, forecasting and specific questions regarding CoMeT+ initiatives within each team
  • Create and maintain training documentation. Provide periodic training for employees for Daimler purchasing systems and Annual Negotiation Period process.
  • Ability to summarize large amounts of data into focused format for management review and develop/identify KPI to support procurement using tableau and alteryx
  • Support Purchasing agents with raw material and efficiency forecasting.
  • Support team in automating reporting process, create interactive dashboard, along with Adhoc/New projects
  • Assist in preparing reports for commercial efficiency and raw material performance tracking for Business Unit Reviews, TP/G Management Meetings, EA/OP Planning cycles, Truck Executive Committee and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
Knowledge You Should Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university/college required OR 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree required
  • At least 2 years of practical experience in Procurement, Controlling, or Cost Accounting within a Manufacturing environment required
  • Ability to manage data within Excel and compile Power Point presentations required
  • Ability to summarize large amounts of data to Management required
  • Ability to present to Senior Management and facilitate discussions required
  • Ability to enforce compliance required
  • An attached resume is required

Exceptional Candidates Might Have
  • A degree focus in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Technology or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of Think-Cell preferred
  • Microsoft Access/Excel: experience creating queries/pivot tables for integrating data from IMACS, SAP and DB2 tables preferred
  • Experience working on International teams preferred
  • Globus/CoMeT+ system experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx preferred
