This critical role under Corporate FP&A will be responsible for driving financial planning and reporting rhythm for the entire company. As part of financial reporting, this position will be closely involved in developing and summarizing trends and takeaways based on financial reviews and submissions in a meaningful way. The position requires high level of diligence and maturity as these reports will be used by Exec Leadership Team of the company for decision making. During quarter-end, the position will be responsible for ensuring close tie-offs between business unit finance teams, accounting, tax, treasury groups as well as financial systems to avoid surprises and enable timely close and reporting of results.

As part of planning activities, this position will be responsible for driving requirements around financial submissions and reviews for the entire company, as well as ensuring that the systems and processes are aligned with the requirements. This will require highly developed business partnering skills to ensure alignment and communication with business FP&A teams, Tax, Treasury and other key stakeholders. Besides routine activities, the position requires supporting adhoc requirements, including Audit Committee updates, business re-orgs and system restatements, M&A and other enhancement projects.

The right individual will have strong analytical skills, work ethics, capable of executing to deadlines efficiently while managing an analyst. Also, the person should demonstrate solid grasp of GAAP accounting rules, including understanding of balance sheet and cash flow statements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead key financial reporting and planning activities in an effective and efficient way
  • Collaborate with finance partners to align on financial submissions timelines, including readiness of systems and processes
  • Provide financial updates based on the submissions and reviews to the leadership team
  • Partner with business and IT teams to enhance reporting and analysis capabilities withing the company, with the aim of improving overall finance productivity as well as decision making
  • Update financial content for earnings, board meetings and other statutory requirements
  • Support for acquisitions, system restatements for re-orgs etc and other ad-hoc projects
  • Identify and implement reporting of key financial metrics that enable meaningful insights

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business-related degree preferred)
  • 10-20 years of experience in Finance/Accounting for reputable firms
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Experience with Anaplan, Tableau and Python, as well as robotics and automation tools big plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling and reporting skills
  • Attention to details, ability to think clearly, work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Curiosity to learn business, improve processes and strive for excellence
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance in a fast-paced, global environment

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
