The Ruhlin Company is seeking to hire experienced Finish Carpenter Foremen (multiple openings) in northeast Ohio and Columbus for it's Building Division.

Position Summary: Frontline supervisor responsible for overseeing a specific crew of employees on a jobsite.

Expected Outcomes:

• All tasks assigned are performed in accordance with contractual, quality and safety standards.

Position Responsibilities:

• Direct crews daily work activities.
• Ensure crew has the necessary tools and materials needed to perform assigned work.
• Track time and ensure crew members are paid appropriately.
• Ensure employees always work safely.
• Interact with the superintendent and/or general foreman frequently to receive instructions and supply requested information (crew member times, task completion status, tool or material needs, etc.).
• Comply with Company health, safety and general policies and protocols and ensure crew members do the same.
• Assist in ensuring Company equipment is properly maintained through daily maintenance.
• Complete daily paperwork such as field reports and schedule updates in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct and/or attend project and staff meetings and training as required.
• Keep superintendent and/or general foreman informed of all issues related to safety, employee relations, etc. and take corrective action as needed.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor s direction.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Extensive knowledge of the materials, methods, practices, regulations, machinery, tools and equipment used in area of work.
• Knowledge of applicable safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to effectively supervise other employees.
