Fitness Attendant

Relative experience is a plus. Pay rate will vary with level of education and/or experience.

We are currently seeking outgoing and personable fitness attendant to work a variety a shifts. Examples: Opening (5:45-10:00AM), mid-day (12:00-5:00PM, and Saturday (7:15AM-12:00PM or 12:00-5:00PM). Position is approximately 10 to 15 hours per week. We are looking for a dedicated team member. There may be opportunities to work more depending on availability and qualifications. *Shifts may vary depending on availability of staff as well as YMCA events.

A Fitness Attendant's job includes, cleaning the fitness center according to a daily schedule, general supervision of fitness center activities, enforcing rules according to fitness center policies, helping members and guests to feel welcome and safe, general assistance with exercise equipment.

Physical requirements include walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, bending, carrying, vacuuming, mopping, assisting other departments if necessary.
