The role of Flatbed Driver at Hines Trucking, Inc. (HTI) is to ensure company goals are met by driving in a safe, professional manner and making on-time pick-ups and deliveries of customer freight. This includes, but is not limited to proper pre-trip, mid-trip, and post trip inspections of equipment and customer freight, inspecting loading and unloading documents for accuracy, obeying speed limit and all other types of traffic signs, reading, studying and interpreting DOT regulations to meet FMCSRs, and communicating with customers, co-workers, management, and officers of the law in a professional manner at all times. Additionally, Flatbed Drivers are responsible for the development of trip plans, and must use and manager their time properly in order to serve our customers and grow our business. Flatbed Drivers are expected to maintain a congenial attitude and never jeopardize the integrity of the company, safety, customer, or themselves while representing HTI.
