We are hiring immediately for a full-time and part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER position both Patient Services and Retail (Chick-Fil-A and more).

Job Description

The food service department consists of, patient service food service workers (HOST included), retail food service workers, cooks, and grill cooks! Our food service department is responsible for preparing, cooking and delivering nutritious food to patients in their wards. Their tasks include making meals, service, and kitchen hygiene. When cooking nutritional meals for those in need, they must closely follow the doctor's directions. Each patient requires a different sort of nourishment and all staff must follow the directions when making, preparing, and serving meals. Other obligations include putting cutlery and hand towels on the tray, blending the plateful to make food smooth or liquid diet, putting meals on plates and trays according to the diet list on the food menu, pushing trolleys to the hallway or ward kitchens, providing trays to the patient, collecting and stacking dirty plates on the cart, and returning the trolley to the kitchen.

• Aiding in the preparation of meals for patients according to physician' orders
• Putting meals for patients based on nutritional value
• Stacking trays in trolleys and pressing them down hospital hallways to designated rooms
• Assisting with dishwashing and glassware cleaning
• Cooking for patient's families, visitors, and staff.

• Monday - Thursday 9:00AM to 11:00AM
• Monday - Thursday 1:00PM to 2:30PM
