Job description

Custom Wood Products is looking for a person who has excellent skills as a craftsman in all phases of the frameless cabinetry construction process. Including but not limited to machining parts, edge banding and assembly. This position is located in our Maple Hill, KS location.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and energetic individual who is skilled in frameless cabinetry manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Runs and operates all production machines.
• Machines parts, edge bands, assembles cabinets for safe and purposeful use.
• Reads and interprets shop drawings.
• Prepares and loads cabinets to the next phase in production.
• Operates shop computers and software.
• Adheres to safety protocols and conducts work in a safe manner.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in construction, carpentry or woodworking preferred
• Must be able to operate woodworking machinery, equipment and hand tools
• Ability to read/interpret shop drawings and utilize and read a tape measure
• Ability to lift large cabinets with assistance
• Must have a keen eye for detail and producing high quality products (free of defects/errors)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

• Carpentry: 1 year (Preferred)
