Samuels Seafood Company, the leading purveyor of fresh and frozen fish, is looking to expand our growing organization by adding a dynamic Freezer Worker to our team! We are currently sourcing for one (1) candidate to fulfill this position as soon as possible. We are looking for candidates that have the following requirements:

• Three (3) years' experience working in a freezer environment.
• Ability to lift, handle heavy materials.
• Ability to complete inventory control.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

Maintain stock in freezer, pull product then double checks order against order sheet to ensure accuracy.

Will Pull orders, choose from a selected varieties of frozen fish, shellfish and other frozen items in customer orders.

Will place items on pallets for distribution.

Work Environment:

Freezer, has an average temp of 0 to -10 degrees.

Refrigerated, with an average temp of 34-38 degrees. Cold wet, damp conditions.

Machines, Tools, Equipment Used:

Customer Orders/ Bill of Ladings, Ice Bins, Pallet Jacks, (manual and electric), forklifts, hand trucks, and U-Frame Carts.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be available for Shift Work including Weekends (flexibility in schedule). All full-time employees are eligible for company benefits (ex. medical, dental, vision, life, short-term & long-term disability, 401k and much more).

We operate Seven Days a week on a 24-hour basis, both attendance and punctuality are of the upmost importance.

Associate must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
