We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated live-on site front desk agent. Exchange for Free fully furnished housing. We are a small Friendly family owned 22 room motel. Chalet Motel St. George, Utah 84770
The Front Desk agent is a live on-site position, plus, free on-site accommodations (rent + all utilities included free Wi-Fi cable laundry onsite off-street parking).
This position would be ideal for an individual or couples with (NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ), we are willing to train the right candidate and (will require knowledge of some handyman skills.) We are looking for someone who can easily transition into a live-in work environment, who is committed to supporting our managers and who possesses excellent customer service, good leadership skills, trustworthy reliability, and the ability to motivate a positive work ethic.
( small salary to be discussed )
Key responsibilities:
Managing the front desk, greeting and checking in guest
Answering guest questions and concerns, giving advice on local restaurants, tourist and entertainment venues
Answering phones and managing reservations
Responding to email request correspondence
Managing housekeeping, daily light Maintenance, Managing the motel and property in the absence of the property managers, ensuring the property and rooms are kept neat and clean and able to be with little to no supervision.
Requirements:
o Ability to utilize both oral and written communications skills to effectively communicate with guests.
o Well-presented and professional appearance.
o Ability to learn on the job.
o Effective customer service and conflict resolution skills.
o Must have flexible hours.
o Familiarity with office machines (fax, printer etc.)
o Knowledge of office supervision and basic bookkeeping
o Proficient in English (oral and written)
o Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
o Strong communication and people skills
o Good organizational and multitasking abilities
o Problem-solving skills
o Customer service
o Basic computer skills sufficient to efficiently utilize online word processing communicate via email, retrieve information from the internet.
o Valid government issued Id or Driver license.
