Front Desk Receptionist
Reports to: Owners
Job Overview:
This is a full-time position and is the face of NSCG when people walk in the door. Responsibilities include data entry into Rock Gym Pro and ongoing reporting, inventory maintenance, volunteer and class coordination, scheduling and tracking of students, answering phone and oversight of general email box, group and party bookings and details, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a smile as they enter the building
- Assist in customer decision for what they need that day
- Check in Climbers through RGP
- Supply and check customer harnesses and shoes for proper fit
- Answer phone and return all phone messages (except for sales calls)
- Make sure entry area is tidy, signage is clear, and retail items are neat, priced and viewable
- Maintain waiver forms/tablets as needed
- Maintain retail inventory
- Maintain a comprehensive list of vendors, contact info, order sheets, history of orders, etc.
- Keep display cases clean and attractive
- Keep retail storage clean and organized; shoes, clothing rack
- Work with customers to sell retail stock, help customers choose clothing and gear
- Receive retail stock, add to inventory and record and contact specific customers that ordered supplies
- Maintain excellent communication, organization and time management skills
- Report all accident/incidents properly and in a timely manner
- Respond at all times with professionalism
- Clean up before opening; bathrooms and party room, wipe down all lockers, sweep lobby and upstairs area - Wipe down counters, doors and tablets
- Other management duties as assigned

- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and the management team
- Punctual and reliable
- Customer service experience preferred
