Full Charge Bookkeeper Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced financial professional to join our not-for-profit organization as a Full Charge Bookkeeper. As part of our team, you will manage all company ledgers, process reconcile payroll, reconcile andinvoices, enter budgets, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Additionally, you will assist leadership with reporting and regulatory requirements as well as provide information and documents related to the annual independent audit. Our ideal candidate has several years of prior bookkeeping experience, expert-level knowledge of QuickBooks software, and experience preparing financial statements. You also need communication skills to explain financial concepts to other employees and compile powerpoint slides in approved format for annual reporting to the board of directors.
Full Charge Bookkeeper Duties and Responsibilities
· Process payroll using ADP
· Process accounts payable and receivable
· Prepare deposits and reconcile company ledgers
· Reconcile bank accounts
· Reconcile expenses
· Reconcile monthly credit card transactions
· Grant Reconciliation
· Assist in preparing annual budget
· Maintain Chart of Accounts
· Prepare monthly accruurals
· Prepare adjusting journal entries as needed
· Maintain Accounting Policy Manual
· Reconcile transactions between registration system and bank
· Perform Month End closings
· Track fixed assets and depreciation
· Perform account reconciliations and invoicing
· Work with tax preparer and assist with tax compliance
· Prepare monthly reports
· Enter and track board hours and prepare compensation
· Property tax filing
· Prepare 1099’s
· Work with accounting firm on annual audit
· On site assistance at annual conference
· Other duties as required
Full Charge Bookkeeper Requirements and Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration (preferred)
· Prior experience with accounting or bookkeeping
· Superb attention to detail
· The ability to meet deadlines
· Exceptional organizations skills
· Strong communication skills
· Excellent data entry skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
