Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail oriented person looking for a long term career in the pawn industry.

The Full time associate or Assistant Manager trainee is responsible for ensuring they arrive at the store on time so that the store opens and closes on time.

Is decisive and assertive with customer interactions.

Is confident using a computer can operate a POS system with multiple functions

Can answer phone calls

Able to research products.

Essential Functions:

• Show up on time and prepared for the day
• Understand how to negotiate product sales
• Self-motivated to stay current on product knowledge.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Detail oriented
• Previous retail experience
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse customers.
• Resourceful self-starter works well independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store.
• May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, or climbing ladder.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
• Frequently lift/move carry up to 50lbs

Our Must Haves – These are our Basic Qualifications

• 20 years of age or older
• Legally authorized to work in United States
• Be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone.
• Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.,
• Ability to pass background check with no criminal record

• Prior work experience in retail, jewelry store or customer service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to speak more than one language: preferably Spanish

What is the Process to get Started?

Step 2 – Phone interview. After we have reviewed your resume and contacted your professional references, we will arrange for a brief phone call.

Step 3 – In-Store Interview. We will give you a tour of the store and discuss expectations and determine if we are a good match.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $19.00 per hour
