Full Time Registered Nurse- Endoscopy
Job description
We are a fun dynamic energetic team that are seeking to add an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to our team. The Endoscopy Center of Marin provides exceptional out-patient endoscopy services using a team centered approach, by creating a warm and friendly environment for our patients, staff and MD's. We are open Monday to Friday, no weekends or evenings. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently.
The ideal candidate that would be a great addition to our team would bring the following skills:
Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
RN with active license, no restrictions (license in appropriate state)
One (1) year of nursing experience, preferably, in an ambulatory surgery center
CPR certification and ACLS certification (as required by Center)
Strong ethical and moral character references
Basic computer skills
Has the ability to apply skills learned and be self directed in acquiring further skills as needed.
Responsibilities
Actively participates as a team member in support of the total endoscopy process.
Patient Intake and Assessment skills a must.
Successfully able to start patient peripheral IV.
Monitors and assess patient for recovery from anesthesia.
Prepares patient for discharge to include: assisting with dressing, discharge instructions, medication reconciliation and follow-up physician appointment with patient and responsible adult .
In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all time.

Patient with excellent problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $51.00 per hour
