ProLift Garage Doors of Charleston seeks experienced
Garage Door Installer to perform installations and repairs for the greater Mount Pleasant, SC area. - Install various types of residential garage doors – including retrofit and new construction.
- Products, buildings and applications differ case by case; the candidate must be able to complete installation professionally as it pertains to safety, functionality and performance working within the guidelines of the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
- Previous experience servicing/ installing garage doors - knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment and supplies used in the residential garage door service
- Mechanical aptitude – knowledge and skilled in using various hand and power tools
- Able to learn client relationship, dispatching, and invoicing software
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and general public
- Team player
- Self-Starter
- Coachable with a strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and efficiently
- Basic math and legible handwriting
- Must have valid drivers' license with clean driving record and be insurable
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of experience that would provide skills and abilities that is necessary to complete the job
Experience
- Door Installation – Minimum 6 months experience (Required)
- Pay based on Experience and performance/volume. The more you repair and install, the more you make, so compensation is uncapped
- Company vehicle, cell phone, iPad supplied for you
- Easy to use CRM software - No hand written invoices here
- DeWalt Tools supplied
- Company credit card for gas and consumables
- Specialty parts/tools to save time: Angle iron cutter, brad nailer for weather seal, conversion kits, etc.
- 2 weeks paid vacation (Accrues monthly and available after 6 months)
- Primary Care Physician Subscription and Aflac Accident Coverage
