Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking an Attorney to act as General Counsel.

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Juris Doctor Degree Required

· Admitted to practice in New York State

- Minimum 10 years of civil litigation experience, specifically handling breach of contract and general business matters.

- Experience drafting correspondence, pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and discovery demands, and responses.

- Leadership experience, being able to take on all major matters personally and to guide junior counsel.

- Fluent understanding of electronic filing via NYSCEF.

· Reliable, hardworking, and motivated.

· Drug free

General Counsel Responsibilities:

• Provide general counsel to Senior Management team and other attorneys.
• Move contract litigation after initial filing
• Settlements
• Discovery demands and depositions
• Court appearances when needed
• Possible trial work

Shift:

· Monday – Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
