Title: General Maintenance Technician
Payrate: USD- 32/Hourly/W-2
Shift: 2nd shift - 2pm-10:30pm
Location: Battle Creek, Michigan
Contract Duration: 5 months

Job Description:

General Maintenance Job Summary:

• Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, General Maintenance is responsible for fixing equipment as needed, change overs, PM’s and troubleshooting of equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to troubleshoot conditions in a production setting
• Working knowledge of PLC's
• Perform quality checks
• Perform other duties as required
• Complete all required and applicable training required by Adient and its customers

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Card from the Department of Labor preferred. Degree or certification from a college or university is required if you do not possess a Journeyman’s card.
• Previous experience working as a Millwright, Electrician or Machine repair in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Required Education:

• High School Education or Equivalent (GED)

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour

• diagnose and repair the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical: 2 years (Preferred)
• PLC's: 2 years (Preferred)
• Millwright, Electrician or Machine repair: 2 years (Preferred)
• Automotive / Automobile: 2 years (Preferred)
• Maintenance Technician: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Journeyman Card (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
