JOB DESCRIPTION

The General Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of our restaurant, including the selection, development, performance and management of employees. In addition, they oversee the inventory and ordering of food and supplies, optimize profits and ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience. The General Manager reports to the Franchisee on a daily and weekly basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, scheduling, record keeping, and preparation of reports.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be ServSafe certified and will uphold all ServSafe guidelines.
• Must have 1+ years of restaurant experience in supervisory or lead position with strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel).
• High School degree or equivalent
• Ability to stand for long period’s of time (8-10 hours)
• Must be able to properly lift, pull and push up to 25 lbs
• Work well with a team of crew members
• Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance.
• Ability to work at least 45-50 hours per week to include days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays
• Possess cleanliness and organizational skills
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Asia Cafe Express is a Quick Service restaurant featuring Hibachi and Amerasian cuisine. Headquartered in the East Tennessee City of Maryville, TN with plans for expansion into 25 Southeastern States.
