General Manager Hotel Blue in Myrtle Beach
Summary of Job Opportunity:
The Vacation Myrtle Beach resort group is seeking a general manager for Hotel Blue. If you enjoy being valued as a strategic partner with ultimate responsibility for the management and profitability of the resort, this may be the career opportunity for you. The perfect candidate will oversee all aspects of the resort operations including guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance. More elaborate details would be shared in the interview process as well as the job description.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years management experience in a large resort style property.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional leadership skills; lead by example and foster a thriving culture for all staff members to grow in their current and future roles.
- Exceptional understanding of expense management.
- A strategic and creative mindset that will foster “outside of the box” thinking and ideas.
- Experience with budgets and forecasting; ability to decipher statistical reporting.
- A good understanding of employment laws and requirements within the jurisdiction.
- Bachelors’ Degree preferred but not essential.
