Summary of Responsibilities
We are seeking to hire an Assistant Manager – Ultium Home Dealer Sales to support the establishment of our Ultium Home sales teams across the dealer sales channels in preparation for our launch later this year. This role is supporting the establishment of our dealer sales channels, and for the sales performance of our EV chargers, accessories and Ultium Home V2H, V2G and V2X products within the GM Dealer network, enabling the dealer sales team to produce results that don’t need explaining via a highly trained and engaged network in a customer focused manner.
This position reports to the Manager – Ultium Home Dealer Sales
Key Responsibilities
- Support the establishment & growth of Ultium Home Dealer Sales Channel
- Work with the Associate Director – Sales and Manager – Dealer Sales to develop sales performance objectives, standards and attainment plans for each of the Ultium Home products across the GM Dealer sales channel.
- Lead the development of sales incentive programs and structures to ensure profitable objective attainment within for Ultium Home.
- Liase with Chevrolet, Buick, GMC & Cadillac Sales teams to communicate objectives and programs across all dealer-facing sales team members
- Support the development of a CX performance program for dealers that integrates across all Ultium Home sales channels; track and monitor performance and help lead CX resolution process with product and CX team members.
Additional Job Description
Required Skills / Experience / Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent, relevant experience.
- 3-5 years experience in sales, ideally working as a District Sales Manager.
- Relentless drive for results in a complex, ever-changing environment with a high level of integrity.
- Experience within automotive sales and marketing and specific knowledge of GM sales operations and incentive programs across Chevrolet, Buick, GMC & Cadillac brand teams is an asset.
- Previous experience in Energy Sales, and Technology / SaaS sales across multiple regions is an asset. Strong knowledge of Energy / Utility providers an asset.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills required to build and maintain relationships across an organization.
- Experience tracking sales performance standards and KPIs across multiple complex sales channels
- A Passion for EVs, EV Charging Networks, Home EV Charging products and Installation services and a willingness to learn.
- A prolific communicator with highly proficient presentation skills and strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience taking complex technical product offerings and simplifying them for consumers and sales teams is an asset
- Strong computer software and analytics skills, especially Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel and the ability to take complex amounts of data and develop key insights and actions.
- Willing to travel up to 50% of the time, as necessary to execute responsibilities of the position
