Responsibilities:
- Maintains all golf course areas and maintenance facility. Involves use of hand-held type equipment such as: weed eaters, backpack & push blowers, edgers, dew whips, self-propelled walking mower, flymows, rakes & shovels, core pushers, picks & pitchforks, level lawns, and water hoses.
- Operate Utility Carts
- Maintains sprinkler heads and valve boxes
- Maintains bunkers
- Maintains cart paths (edge and blow)
- Walk Mow Greens and Tees
- Daily cleanup of equipment and facility
- Record fuel use in fuel log
- Mow Fairways
- Mow Roughs
- Mow Approaches
- Blow Fairways and Rough
- Spread pine and hardwood mulch 3 times per week. Involves standing, load/unload mulch and hand spreading.
- All other duties as required by supervision.
Qualifications:
- Prefer previous experience on golf course or construction site (including use of Heavy Equipment)
- Must be able to bend, stretch and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions.
