Position Summary:
The Graphic Designer plays an integral role on the Digital Design team and is responsible for concept design and layout for both venues and L.A. Live as well as adhere to branding guidelines. The Graphic Designer works to consistently uphold all artwork needed for events including website, social media, e-mail, venue digital assets, and digital ticketing images and distributing those images to the appropriate parties. Additionally, this position will work closely with the Director, Graphic Design with other graphic design projects which may include; ads for trade publications, artist welcome banners, backstage decor, flyers/napkin holders, social media sweepstakes banners, birthday wishes, etc. Additionally, this position will require occasional content management of various digital signage assets at LA Live, as assigned by the VP of AEG Digital Signage and Design. This position has no direct reports.
Essential Functions:
- Create and update digital assets including but not limited to e-cards, newsletters, posters, banners, invites, flyers, and social media accounts.
- Assist with scheduling and content management of all digital signage on the LA Live campus, including Crypto.com Arena, Microsoft Theater, L.A. Live, Regal Cinema and XBox Plaza.
- Ensure designs are approved, updates are modified on appropriate marketing assets and deadlines are met within the Digital Design department processes.
- Oversee comprehensive and compelling event artwork for social and email campaigns that drive incremental traffic to AEG websites and social media engagement while being the liaison between internal and external Marketing teams.
- Responsible for creating engaging social and print advertisements for shows at various venues directed to the right audience.
- Lead meetings to generate a full understanding of creative objectives while pitching ideas, briefs, and concepts.
- Designs other assets as needed including but not limited to invitations, merchandise, stickers, and outdoor maps.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred)
- A minimum of 2 - 4 years of related work experience in a graphic design role
- Proven experience producing designs for various types of media (Website, Social Media & Print)
- Proven ability to create compelling visual communication for print and digital platforms
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, and other related Adobe Suite software
- Proven graphic design skills, layout skills, creative services, customer focus, creativity, flexibility, and desktop publishing tools
- Proven ability to successfully manage several projects at once, prioritize assignments, and manage expectations of internal customers
- Team player with professional demeanor demonstrating responsibility, initiative, and dependability, all with a positive attitude
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Availability to work non-traditional business hours, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays

Pay Scale: $65,000 - $77,981
