Altra Federal Credit Union is hiring for a Full Time Graphic Designer / Multi-Media Communications Specialist in our Marketing department at the Operations Center in Onalaska, WI. Staff occupying this position are responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing various multi-media marketing materials for Altra. Graphic Designer / Multi-Media Communications Specialists will be able to present ideas clearly and confidently and know, or be willing to learn, financial products and services.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Working closely with product managers and management teams on assigned creative lead roles to create marketing materials and tactical plans that help Altra achieve its business objectives.
• Working with printers, media representatives and other vendors to complete projects on time and on budget.
• Conceptualize, design, write and produce multi-media member communications.
• Gather information for internal and external communications.
• Manage creative and content development for external web sites; create new pages and links as necessary; update and rotate content to keep it fresh.
• Develop and post content and creative for in-branch digital system, ATM’s and outdoor signs.
• Produce creative content for digital media, HTML emails and social media posts for promotions and informational messages.
• Develop external event materials and work with Event Coordinator to determine the needs of the event.

To be considered for this position, candidates will be required to have the equivalent of a high school diploma or GED/HSED. A two-year degree in graphic design is preferred. Without the degree, we would require three (3) to five (5) years of equivalent experience. Must have the ability to take a job from conception all the way through production and have thorough knowledge of printing processes. Candidates will also be required to juggle multiple projects at a time and meet tight deadlines.

This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; between the operating hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Position may require support for events during evening hours and weekends as necessary. The Graphic Designer / Multi-Media Communications Specialist position is located at the Operations Center, in Onalaska WI, however, work from home / remote work opportunities could be available after 3-6 months of employment once successfully completing all position-specific training and demonstration of consistent and satisfactory work performance.

Experience
