Burgerology is a burger restaurant in Huntington Long Island. We are looking for qualified candidates to join our team.

As a team, we strive to create excitement for our brand by engaging our guests with bold food in a casual, friendly atmosphere. Our guests come to Burgerology stony brook to experience the best quality burgers in their own neighborhood -- that’s where we need your help! As a line cook, we’ll teach you the ins and outs of our menu items so you can help create a memorable experience for each guest.

We’re hiring for both full and part time positions. Experience in a fast casual concept and high-volume environment is a plus.

• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, appetizers and snacks
• Plating prepared foods based on company standards
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)

• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers
