Job description

Hardhat is hiring carpenters. An experienced all around Handyman/Carpenter commonly uses hand tools, including squares, levels, and chisels, as well as many power tools, such as sanders, circular saws, nail guns, and welding machines. Carpenters fasten materials together with nails, screws, staples, and adhesives, and do a final check to ensure accuracy.

Pay: Between 20$-30$ + with 4.50 per hour for gas

Carpenter Responsibilities Include:

• Proficient with Tile, Sheetrock, Painting, and very basic electrical knowledge
• Working with metal and wood framing and must be able to do trim work
• Using hand or electric tools to fabricate, cut, and install the framework
• Reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
• Helping place and secure wood during the building process
• Being confident in framing, measuring, trim work, and finishing work

Carpenter Qualifications:

• Experience with finish/rough commercial/Residential carpentry
• Strong knowledge of metal stud/wood framing, material management, metal doors, hardware install, drywall, trim, cabinets/countertops, suspended grid, tile install, etc.
• Able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds in order to load and unload wood and other materials as well as carry needed tools and materials to and from the jobsite
• Must be able to do minor electrical installation of electrical appliances and repair. Install sockets etc. minor plumbing install fixtures and repair leaks/ drains
• Must be able to do painting, drywall and tile
