Healthcare Bid Manager –Enterprise Services (ES) – 80% home based with 20% travel

Then come and join our global team as a Healthcare Bid Manager. This role is key in ensuring that Siemens Healthineers are able to efficiently and accurately manage all business opportunities in this challenging and complex market.
As Healthcare Bid Manager, you will project manage, co-ordinate and lead assigned project activities to support the accurate, compliant, and timely response of all ES proposals, including tender responses, procurement framework activities and RFI responses. Being responsible for the quality and timely submission of customer proposals, working closely with the ES sales team and other contributors to deliver robust responses. To provide project management support during the contract negotiation phase for ES projects as well as provide deputy support to the ES sales team throughout contract negotiation meetings.

Your mission and responsibilities:
In this Healthcare Bid Manager role, you can also expect to:
- Create and deliver internal and external project team briefing sessions/meetings to ensure that all contributors are appraised appropriately and understand their roles, responsibilities, and timelines.
- Deploy robust project management methodologies according to PM@Siemens principles to all ES sales projects.
- To lead on the development of customer proposals for assigned ES projects working closely with the broader business including ES Business Development and ES Management teams.
- Working closely with the wider ES sales team, determine proposal concepts for ES solutions.
- Establish and adherence to deadlines through detailed and robust project planning, ensuring appropriate time allocation to all contributors, including, but not limited to, legal, commercial, project realisation, product specialists, Customer Service team members, project financing and procurement, as well as external contributors, as required.
- Gathering of customer intelligence through internal and external research.
- Ensure completion of relevant internal approvals material, including, but not limited to Limited of Authority (LOA) documentation.
- Lead an ES culture of continuous proposal and bid response improvement, through regular review of process, utilising project management capabilities to ensure that bid processes are measured and where appropriate improvements made.
Your qualifications and experience:

- Good knowledge and experience of healthcare in the UK, ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of the political, operational, and structural NHS, as well as the current challenges.
- Ability to focus on detail with demonstrable project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to understand a brief and action it appropriately Excellent organisational and presentation skills.
- Assertiveness, tenacity, and a self-starter. Must have the ability to engage all members of a diverse team towards a shared objective.
- Ideally some experience in complex client partnership contracts such as Managed Equipment Service.
