Truck Driver – Heavy Haul Lowbed – Union Position – $35.25/hr.

This position pays per Teamster union contract, $35.25 per hr. and all union benefits and pension.

THE CURRENT POSITION WE ARE OFFERING IS A SWING SHIFT IN THE SACRAMENTO AREA.

Double D Transportation is a leading construction materials and equipment transportation company operating in the greater San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento region. Our Heavy Haul Division is seeking a Lowbed Driver to join our team in the Sacramento area as part of Teamsters Union.

Schedule:

• Shift begins in the early afternoon and extends into the early morning hours.
• Monday thru Saturday, occasional Sundays

Job Requirements:

* Minimum 3 years of experience driving heavy duty trucks with 10, 13 & 18 speed manual transmissions.

* MUST HAVE 1 year of RGN low-bed experience moving, loading and unloading large and small construction equipment.

• Experience in the construction industry is a definite plus.
• Minimum age 25.
• Valid CDL Class “A” driver’s license.
• We require a K4 DMV driving record from a DMV branch office within the last 30 days. Please attach with the application.
• Applicants must be self-motivated, safety conscious and have a positive can-do attitude.
