Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Duchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. Sun River Health is currently seeking a full-time Helpdesk Analyst I. This position is primarily remote with travel as needed to our health centers for on site assistance. This position's main office will be located in Beacon, NY.

Provides technical support and assistance, whether on the phone, in person, or remotely, to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and guiding clients through corrective steps
Essential Functions:
- Create, update, and close tickets following the Incident management workflow
- Determines impact and urgency of an incident and support request to determine priority
- Conducts initial triage/troubleshooting on a wide range of technology issues
- Escalates unresolved requests and incidents to higher tiers
- Maintain a record of knowledge/solutions within a structured knowledgebase
- Assists maintenance of login requests (add, changes and deletions)
- Assists in purchase order process
- Assists with maintenance of IP assignment.
- Assists callers in minor level 1 problem resolution and routes more complex issues to level 2 support
- Assists MIS Department in maintenance of work stations when available
- Manages outstanding problems and communicates status to IS Department and users using Track It software
- Maintains cell phone and beeper inventory
- Responsible for inventory management
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma/GED required
Valid Driver's License required
Vocational/Technical School/Diploma Program for IT preferred with High School Diploma/GED

- Tech savvy, or interest in learning new tech skills

- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel within the Sun River Health service site area
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing
- Possesses a capacity for flexibility, cultural sensitivity and is able to maintain confidentiality
- Familiarity with Windows 2000, Windows 95 and 98, various software programs, PC repair and networking
