SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer a choice of seating, then escort them to their table and present menu;
• Assist guests with chairs and coats;
• Maintain proper set-up of the dining room;
• Receive records and make/cancel any necessary arrangements for reservations, comply with special requests. Pass on information to staff and management;
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis;
• Serve guests according to Forbes Standards;
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma/GED required;
• Previous experience working in a luxury 4 or 5-star hotel or restaurant (preferred);
• Open Table experience (preferred);
• Must be able to work on your feet entire shift;
• Strong customer service skills required;
• Must speak, write and understand English;
• Very well groomed and clean appearance;
• POS software experience is a plus.
