A Meg O'Malley's Host sets the experience for all Guests that visit our restaurant. You are a Meg O'Malley's ambassador and as such, you will be the first and last point of contact with our Guests. You are expected to not only greet our Guests, you are expected to provide a sincere and heartfelt thank you as they leave. Greeting and seating our Guests is your core responsibility, however, your talents need to go beyond with a charming, polite, and calm demeanor.
About You:
- Polite, friendly and helpful attitude that is always ready to greet Guests and team with a smile
- Great time management and multi-tasking skills
- Thinks and acts quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Works well with a team
- Experience is a plus, but not required! We will train you!
The Job:
Manage a wait list- Have a good understanding of our menu, specials, entertainment and events
- Answer phone within 3 rings, with proper phone etiquette
- Reset tables to proper set up specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Check restrooms periodically
- Be able to “Walk ‘n’ Talk” with our Guests when seating them
- Confidently engage in conversation with our Guests
- Understand professional communication
