Job description

The Housekeeping Supervisor at this Duluth area hotel is responsible for all duties of the housekeeping operation and cleanliness levels in all areas of the property. This position requires strong attention to detail, leadership skills and the ability to effectively deal with department heads, guests and team members.

Duties include:

• Solid understanding of housekeeping, laundry supplies and pars
• Teach employees the importance of, and how to greet guests and courteously solve guest requests
• See that inspection program is consistently maintained and inspect some rooms personally each day
• Current on latest housekeeping and laundry technology
• Experience teaching, supervising, and mentoring multilingual and multicultural staff
• Ensures proper staffing levels for customer service goals
• Coach and counsel employees to reflect our service standards and procedures

Job Qualifications:

• 2 years or more of progressive Hotel Rooms Management experience.
• Must possess high energy, motivational skills, effective communication skills, be able to provide exceptional customer service, organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
