Maintenance and Groundskeeper

Essential Duties:

• Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions and/or requests
• Communicate with and collaborate with all departments to ensure excellent quality and service for our guests
• This position reports directly to the Director of Maintenance and ultimately to the General Manager.
• Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays-8 hour shift to include the hours of 8am to 8pm
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical skills, preventive maintenance procedures, HVAC, property inspections, and lawn care equipment
• Follow established safety procedures at all times. Immediately report any health and safety incident, unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor or manager on duty
• Replenish supplies and inventory in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain the safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of the exterior of the buildings, grounds and pool area.
• Due to the nature of our outdoor complex, a person who accepts a position at the Inn at Middleton Place must be able to work in all weather conditions, lift a maximum of 75 lb., and requires the ability to climb stairs.

• Groundskeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
• Facilities maintenance: 1 year (Required)
