The Housekeeping Runner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel and providing guests with quality housekeeping service in a timely and friendly manner. The Housekeeping Runner also aids the Housekeeping department by transporting linens and supplies to rooms and performs some maintenance restoration around the property.

Main Duties:

• Clean and maintain the appearance of public areas and rooms of the hotel.
• Vacuum, buff, and polish floors of guest rooms and public areas.
• Deep cleaning of assigned areas as needed.
• Restocking housekeeping stations.
• Delivering service items to guest rooms to housekeeping staff and upon request by management.
• Landscaping exterior areas of rooms using lawn tools (hedge trimmer, weed-whacker, etc.)
• Performing minor maintenance repairs around the hotel.
• May assist other departments with moving equipment or supplies as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent is not required but preferred.

· Strong communication skills.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently, stand for long periods of time, bend, and stoop.
