We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our team of housekeepers and laundry attendants to ensure we provide the best guest experience possible.

Housekeeping Supervisor responsibilities include organizing daily team meetings, scheduling employee shifts, training and motivating team members and checking guest rooms and public areas for tidiness. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sanitation regulations and team management abilities.

Successful Housekeeping Supervisors are not only skilled at developing and implementing strategies to improve the functioning of their departments but also possess excellent management skills. These individuals can ensure that operations run efficiently by following standards properly so they can keep things running smoothly within your company's facilities.

Ultimately, you will help ensure our daily housekeeping operations run smoothly and that guests are satisfied.

Job responsibilities

• Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Oversee staff daily.
• Complete all tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Check rooms and common areas for cleanliness.
• Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence.
• Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards.
• Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job.
• Respond to guest complaints and special requests.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning products and guest room supplies.
• Communicate with front desk and maintenance staff regarding the status of guest rooms.
• Participate in large cleaning projects as required.
• Ensure compliance with local safety and sanitation policies.

Required Job Skills

• Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role
• Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations
• Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• Excellent organizational and team management skills
• Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.10 per hour
