MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN HOUSEKEEPING.

Responsibilities:

Inspect and clean assigned guest rooms and bathrooms in a timely and organized manner according to procedures and standards per COVID-19.

Supervise a team of housekeepers ensuring the following are being completed:

• Change sheet, make beds and vacuum in stay-over/check out guest rooms as well as public areas.
• Dust entire guest room including tables, nightstands, dressers, light fixtures, televisions, air condition units, and window ledges in all rooms.
• Clean all mirrors.
• Reports any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Report needed repairs of unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Responds to requests from guests, supervisors or management in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintains linen cart and supplies neat and organized to department standards.
• Maintains the security of equipment, keys, and supplies issued each day.
• Reports lost and found articles to the supervisor.
• Replaces light bulbs
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses, writing, bathroom supplies, and linen.
• Cleans rooms in accordance to the specific brand and company minutes per room standard
• Follows procedures for team cleaning and self-inspecting program.
• Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Reports appropriate complaints or requests to the appropriate department. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Keeps housekeeping storage clean and organized.
• Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
• Follows company policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift minimum 30 pounds
• Must have open schedule
• Ability to multitask

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour
