Spherion has a Direct Hire position open for an HSE Administrator in the Lafayette, LA area.

The HSE Administrator is responsible for implementing and monitoring site-specific health, safety, and environmental operations and tasks at the assigned job site/area.

Basic responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:

• Working with management to arrange and assist with training for all facility personnel in relevant aspects of HSE.
• Support local internal and external communication networks and build working relationships to ensure that employees are involved and engaged with all aspects of HSE, and the site’s License to Operate is protected.
• Conduct monthly safety meetings and record documentation related to these meetings
• Manage Safety Data Sheets
• Manage all Workman’s Comp Claims and Return to Work programs
• Deliver advice and support to ensure local incident investigations identify true root causes, contain sufficient detail and quality to enable timely validation when first submitted.
• Undertake statistical analysis of safety trends, HSE inspections, and audit results
• Conduct safety reviews with site managers annually

Education & Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 yrs. HSE experience
• Solid Understanding of OSHA requirements
• OSHA 30 Certificate is a plus.

Schedule: M-F 8:00am – 5:00pm

Pay: $50-60K annually, depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
