Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, using their knowledge and understanding of the human resources function the Human Resources Generalist will lead recruiting and onboarding efforts, retention strategies, employee relations, and performance management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for recruitment process for non-exempt positions and assist recruitment efforts on exempt positions, accurately maintaining date in ATS while coordinating candidate experience from screening through offer.
- Consult with Managers/Supervisors to identify staffing needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills. Prepares and maintains applicable job descriptions.
- Effectively network, conduct thorough searches on job boards and creatively use social media to source top talent with needed skill sets. Stay up to speed on current recruiting techniques and provide creative solutions.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with high schools, technical schools, universities, alumni organizations and community organizations, to help identify and source qualified candidates.
- Actively engage with supervisors and employees to support retention.
- Oversee production employee performance review process to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
- Assists in the research and implementation of a variety of HR initiatives and solutions to achieve company goals.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assists in coordinating company-sponsored functions, including community and colleague activities.
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are incompliance.
- Ability to work across the organization to support workplace culture and expectations.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
