CGS is seeking to hire a temporary HVAC/Generator Technician to join our team in support to XCTC Army training. As a HVAC/Generator Technician, you will assist in the equipment compliance and maintain equipment records.
Essential Functions:

• Inspect, test, and operate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation
• Service equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant, and compressed air as needed
• If required, will repair/replace broken equipment
• At the completion of the exercise, you will prepare GSE for storage and transportation
• Maintain equipment records, document maintenance actions, and sustain external fuel and grounding systems

Requirements:

• Pass a background check
• Have a valid Drivers License and be able to safely drive a full-size pick-up truck
• Ability to safely load, transport, and lift fuel cans weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in an outdoor environment using military tents and portable restrooms

Experience:

• Experience with generators, small engine repair, HVAC (Preferred)

Work Hours: 8-12 hour shifts, 6-7 days / week, for a total of up to 6 weeks.
