FT Weekend Night Imaging Tech Assistant.
The days and hours for the position are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00p - 7:30a; this position will receive evening, night and weekend shift differential. The
Imaging Tech Assistant functions under the direction of the department supervisors or Manager. Providing safe, age appropriate care to the patients in accordance with Policy and Procedures. Maintains good working relationships with managers, staff, physicians and their staff. Assist technologists and/or nurses with patient throughput, transporting patients, performs patient advocate functions, and assists with supply and room stocking activities. May perform Front Office tasks, registration, scheduling, answering phones, and insurance eligibility checks.
Qualifications
Required Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent
Required Minimum Experience: Prefer hospital experience working with patients.
Required Minimum Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
Required Minimum Skills: Demonstrates good communication skill and handwriting. Must obtain medical terminology training within twelve (12) months. The individual must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and display a positive attitude.
