Indoor Air Quality Installer / Entry Level HVAC Installer Helper

RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN INDOOR AIR QUALITY INSTALLER / ENTRY LEVEL HVAC INSTALLER HELPER

• Aids with HVAC Installations as directed by the Lead Installer, including installation of vents, duct work, plenum and registers, using hand tools and powers tools according to code and established company procedures
• Follows directions set by the Lead HVAC Installer at jobsites
• Willing to assist other business functions when needed, as assigned by the manager
• Makes an effort to learn all aspects of HVAC, including system installations and ductwork
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
• Ensures job-site cleanliness
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS OF AN INDOOR AIR QUALITY INSTALLER / ENTRY LEVEL HVAC INSTALLER HELPER

• Prior HVAC work experience not required
• Has a desire to work & grow in the HVAC industry
• Punctual, dependable, organized, and efficient
• Must have great attention to detail
• Must have a mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of principles of operation of air conditioning and heating systems, and safety practices concerning HVAC work is a plus
• Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraints
• Moderate lifting (up to 75 lbs)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and navigate tight crawl spaces, and climb ladders in or around attics, garages and rooftops
• Must have the ability to work overtime
• Must be able to pass background check, drug screening and have a valid CA driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF AN INDOOR AIR QUALITY INSTALLER / ENTRY LEVEL HVAC INSTALLER HELPER

• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid California non-commercial Class C driver's license
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb stairs/ladders
• Ability to lift / carry / push / pull up to 75 lbs
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperature extremes
• Ability to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)
