POSITION: Industrial Safety & Oil and Gas Instructor – Business & Industry Services
CAMPUS: Districtwide
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Develop and conduct programs to train employees or customers of industrial, commercial, or government organizations in local, state and/or federal safety and health related issues.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Industrial Coordinator – Business and Industry Services
SKILLS REQUIRED: Ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations with particular emphasis in Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, procedures, interpretation and application. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of three years’ experience in oil and gas or industrial safety setting.
EDUCATION: Associate degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
STARTING DATE: June 14, 2023
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 month – Certified/Exempt
