POSITION: Information Technology Manager
LOCATION: Corporate Office in Franklin, TN
HOURS: Monday through Friday, 40 hours
Up to $90k/year Depending on Experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Lead the Information Technology department’s operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.
- Keep current with the latest technologies.
- Manage financial aspects of the Information Technology department, including purchasing, budgeting and budget review.
- Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all Information Technology systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals and Office Automation equipment.
- Work with Director of Information Technology to develop and implement all Information Technology policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing and service provisions.
- Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing and service provision.
- Work with Director of Information Technology to develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for Information Technology spending and initiatives.
- Develop requests for proposals.
- Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer and consultant contracts and service agreements.
- Benchmark, analyze, report on and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the Information Technology infrastructure and Information Technology systems.
- Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization’s executives, department heads and end users regarding pertinent Information Technology activities.
- Phone system management.
- Prepare manuals for users after releasing new product (Process Automation Product)
- Prepare manuals for Information Technology staff (New technology deployment, update in the current infrastructure).
- Approve and oversee projects and project portfolio.
- Practice asset management for Information Technology hardware, software and equipment.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This is a supervisory position. This position does not have the authority to hire, fire, discipline, discharge, assign overtime, and/or direct and assign work, or the ability to effectively recommend any of these actions, but does serve as a coach and mentor for other employees.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
TRAVEL
This position occasionally requires travel.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 8-10 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the working environment such as frequent change, delay or unexpected events
- Server administration with Windows Power Shell
- Windows Server Infrastructure Management (Maintenance, Design, and Deployment)
- Server Virtualization in Hyper-V environment (Maintenance, Design, and Deployment)
- Backup and recovery technology
- IP Phone System Management
- Office 365 Administration (Administering Hybrid technology environment)
- SharePoint Administration and Design
- Computer networks, network administration and network installation
- Computer troubleshooting
- Computer system security
- Exchange Server Infrastructure Management
- Web-Developing, Programming, and Design
- Capacity to learn new technologies
- Some travel required
- Availability during nights and weekends
- Data Center infrastructure and Project management
SECURITY CLEARANCE (if applicable)
This position requires the individual to maintain security clearance at the facility(s) or location(s) assigned. Building access codes may be given to work outside of the standard 8-5 schedule. Guests are not allowed in the building outside of the standard 8-5 work week. Employees without access codes are not able to enter the building outside of the standard work hours of 8-5 unless another employee with an access code is in the building.
