Job Responsibilities:
  • Communicates effectively to prospects the advantages and capabilities of the company.
  • Proactively monitors existing accounts organic development or new opportunities.
  • Negotiates contract terms with key performance indicators in mind.
  • Prepares and presents proposals, communicates credit terms and delivery policies.
  • Participates in implementation of company marketing strategies.
  • Develops and maintains all aspects of customer relationships to ensure customer retention.
  • Demonstrates persistence and tenacity through follow-up calls.
  • Ability to make a high frequency of cold calls and customer reach out campaigns.
  • Operates within established credit and financial guidelines to protect company assets and receivables.
Core Competencies:
  • Required minimum of (1) year professional sales or marketing experience (Logistics, Fuel or Fleet sales experience a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels within organization and prospective customers.
  • Ability to recommend and implement strategic action for new business opportunities.
  • Expanding existing accounts and existing relationships through cross-selling and up-selling WFS products and services.
  • Must be able to use initiative and good judgment while working independently.
  • Ability to evaluate all aspects of the sale and negotiate the best deal possible.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word and Excel)
  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • Energetic and driven individual
  • 1-2 years’ experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
